History of Dalhousie

Dalhousie is another of those cool hill retreats left behind by the British. Founded in the 1850s by the viceroy whose name it bears, its heyday came in the 1920s, ’30s and ’40s when Lahore society flocked here for its holes. Come Partition, Lahore found itself in Pakistan and Dalhousie has never been quite the same again. 

A Beautiful tourist place and District headquarter of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, so that travelers who come to visit at Dalhousie they must go to visit at Chamba. There is a major sightseeing point at Dalhousie named “Khajjiar” known as mini Switzerland. There is a Mall Road at Dalhousie starts from “Subhash Chowk” till “Gandhi Chowk” Hundreds of travelers can be seen walking on the Mall Road at every evening.
